Beaconsdale N Gauge Layout
A DCC/DC layout depicting a country station on the main line in the Derbyshire Dales at around the end of Stream the beginning on diesel area, 1959/1960.
The layout features Beaconsdale station and Monsal Viaduct, an 18 arch structure taking the line over the Monsal Dale valley.
The idea for the layout was a desire to see large freight and passenger trains moving through a Dale’s landscape.
Our small band of N Gauge modellers have been building the layout since 2019.
